CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville is chosen to finish seventh in the 2026 G-MAC Softball Preseason Poll.
 
The Lady Jackets are exactly in the middle of the 13-team ranking following a vote by the league's coaches.
 
Defending regular season champion Tiffin earned 11 first-place votes and totaled 156 points to top the poll.
 
Findlay (137 points) and defending tournament champion Hillsdale (133) each received one of the remaining first place votes.
 
Rounding out the top seven are Ohio Dominican (122), Northwood (119), Ashland (103), and Cedarville (94).
 
The Jackets went 19-31 overall and 13-11 G-MAC last spring while qualifying for the conference tournament.
 
CU is scheduled to open the campaign at the Chattanooga Invitational hosted by Lee University on Feb. 6-7.
 
The first home date is March 13 against non-conference foe Davenport. Thomas More visits for the G-MAC opener on March 20.
