WISE, Va. – Charleston pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat the Lady Jackets, 4-3, at UVA Wise's Bill Gatton Field.
The hometown Cavaliers overpowered Cedarville, 13-5, in the first game.
The Jackets scored a run in the second inning and two more in the third to take a 3-2 lead on Charleston.
The Eagles tied it in the fifth and won it in the seventh on a leadoff triple and an RBI single.
Anna Gorshak tripled in a run and
Lindsey Linker drove in another with a double.

Emma Wylie tossed a complete game with four strikeouts.
Two big innings carried UVA Wise in the first game. The Cavs plated five runs in their first at bat and closed the game out with six runs in the sixth.
Gorshak hammered a two-run home run in the first inning. CU's three-run third featured an RBI infield single by
Macy Sidebottom and a two-run triple from
Ella Leonard.
