Cedarville takes 15th at NAIA

VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Yellow Jackets placed 15th out of 32 schools at the NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship staged at the Fort Vancouver National Historical Site.

Evan Thayer was the top runner for Cedarville. He finished 72nd out of 326 participants with a time of 26:16 for the 8,000 meters. Joseph Cathey was 77th in 26:19 in the wet conditions.

Matt Brooker labored to a 98th-place showing in 26:35. #T.J. Badertscher# was 125th in 26:48 and Chris Vaughn was 151st in 27:05.

Rounding out the Yellow Jacket line-up were Jordan Davies (217th; 27:41) and Josiah Bragg (246th; 28:04).

Southern Oregon won the meet with 105 points, Wayland Baptist (Texas) had 124, and AMC champion Malone tallied 251 to make up the top three teams. Cedarville had 398 points.
