CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets beat Siena Heights, 6-3, in the first game of a non-conference doubleheader, but then let a four-run lead slip away in the nightcap as the visiting Saints claimed a 9-5 outcome.

Winning pitcher Missy Murphy went the distance in the opener scattering seven hits and allowing two earned runs. She struck out 10 and walked just two.

Paige Stewart went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in while Christina Zorn went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Cedarville was poised for the sweep after bolting to a 4-0 lead through three innings of the second game. However, the defense coughed up seven unearned runs on five errors over the next three innings.
