CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville turned aside Notre Dame College, 8-1, to begin American Mideast Conference action at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

The Yellow Jackets, 4-10 overall, have struggled in doubles play this year, but they swept all three matches against the Falcons.

The #1 pairing of Aaron Niemiec and Bobby Eberhard worked for an 8-2 win. Other points came from #2 Caleb Speicher and Zach Rost, 8-6, as well as #3 Kyle DeBoer and Kyle Kirby, 8-4.

In singles, Niemiec registered a 6-3, 6-3 win at the #1 position while #3 Dan Adriansen rallied for a 5-7, 6-3, 10-7 victory. The other points were secured by #4 DeBoer, 6-1, 6-3; #5 Speicher, 6-3, 6-1; and #6 Kirby, 6-2, 6-2. [RESULTS]
