OXFORD, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets received third-place efforts from the 4 x 100 meter relay unit as well as Chris Vaughn in the steeplechase at the Miami University Invitational.

The foursome of Michael Beight, Marcus Benjamin, Mark Farris, and Sammy Starr posted a time of 42.42 seconds which was good enough for 3rd place in the 4 x 100 relay.

Vaughn was 3rd in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:42.43.

In other Top 10 showings, Farris was 7th in the 200 meter dash in 22.73 seconds. Starr was 9th in the 100 (11.25), Ethan Blagg was 9th in the 800 (1:58.51), Mike Herrera was 9th in the pole vault (12-7.50), and Aaron Lane was 10th in the 110 meter hurdles (16.21).
