CINCINNATI, Ohio - Justin Hoffman won the 400 meter hurdles and was the runner-up in the 110 meter hurdles to pace the Yellow Jackets at the University of Cincinnati Invitational.
Hoffman grabbed the top spot in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 53.72 seconds. He took second in the 110 hurdles in 14.48. Hoffman previously met the NAIA automatic qualifying marks in both events.
Greg Hannay placed 3rd in the javelin with a heave of 51.54 meters while Jordan Molstre was 5th at 42.77. Chris Vaughn finished 4th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 9:50.87; Brandon Tress was 6th in the 400 meter hurdles in 56.03; and #T.J. Badertscher# was 7th in the 5,000 meters in 14:59.94.
The Yellow Jackets ended up in 7th place by totaling 38 points. The host Bearcats won the 16-team meet with 146 points and Ashland was next with 135.
