Kacey Smith squeezed home
Sarah Parsons in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Cedarville a 5-4 win over Trevecca and a sweep of their G-MAC doubleheader.
Morgan Arbogast tossed a complete-game three-hitter in the opener for a 3-0 victory.
Parsons led off the eighth inning of the nightcap with a single. One out later she went first-to-third on
Danae Fields' bunt single.
Smith laid down a perfect bunt on a 1-0 pitch allowing Parsons to slide home with the winning run.
Fields finished with two hits for Cedarville, 21-11 overall and 10-2 G-MAC, and
Hannah Lord doubled in two runs. Smith, 5-3, pitched the final two innings to get the win.
Arbogast, 7-5, was stellar inside the circle in game one while notching her fifth shutout of the season. She struck out three and was the beneficiary of the defense turning two inning-ending double plays.
The junior righthander helped her cause with a single and two RBI's.

Jessica Steger, and Danielle Walgamot each had two hits.
Stinger Notes:
- Smith's RBI to win the second game was the first of her career.
- Trevecca stranded 14 runners on base in the second game and left the bases loaded three times including the seventh and eighth innings.
- CU has beaten Treveca in five of the last seven meetings.
- The Lady Jackets are 51-for-58 in stolen bases.
- Hannah Lord had hits in each game and has hit safely in 13 of the last 14 contests.
