CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Freshmen
Haleigh Eckert and
Lyssi Snouffer met NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks to highlight Cedarville's performance in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open.
Eckert won the pole vault at 12-0.50 (3.67 meters) - third-best mark in school history.
Snouffer was the runner-up in the high jump by clearing 5-6 (1.68m) which ties for fourth on CU's all-time list.
Bethany Sholl was CU's other winner. She paced four Lady Jackets in the top ten of the 10,000 meters with a time of 38:25.10.
Sarah Himes unloaded the second-best discus throw in school history. She posted a runner-up mark of 141-9 (43.22m).
Alexandra Brizzi was the runner-up in the 100 meter dash in 12.19 seconds - No. 7 on the Lady Jackets' Top 10 times.
Dayton won the 22-team meet with 141 points. Rounding out the top four were Hillsdale (121), Tiffin (113), and Cedarville (90).
Stinger Notes:
- Freshman Britain Musick placed fourth in both the 100 meter hurdles (15.03) and the 200 (25.51).
- Lauren Willow was fourth in the high jump (5-4.25) and younger sister Hannah Willow was fifth (5-2.25).
