OWENSBORO, Ky. -
Alexandra Brizzi posted one of the fastest marks in school history and scored in three events to help Cedarville to a fifth place finish in the G-MAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
She placed fifth in the 100 meter dash in 12.08 seconds - the third-fastest time in school history.
Brizzi was third in the 200 (25.28) and was joined by
Caroline Schaeckenbach,
Britain Musick, and
Lauren Willow in the 4 x 400 meter relay to place sixth (4:04.58).
Rachel Sweeney finished fifth in the 800 meters (2:15.81),
Bethany Sholl was fifth in the 5,000 (17:35.44), and
Lyssi Snouffer and
Lauren Willow tied for fifth in the high jump at 5-4.25 (1.63 meters) on the final day.
Earlier in the meet, Sweeney placed fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (10:54.17) which is the eighth-fastest in school history.
Alayna Ackley finished third in the 10,000 meter run in 36:26.35 (No. 7 at CU) and Sholl was fourth in a personal-best 36:38.90 (No. 10 at CU).
Haleigh Eckert placed fourth in the pole vault by clearing 11-10.75 (3.63 meters).
Findlay won the championship with 207 points and runner-up Hillsdale had 167. Walsh (120), Tiffin (119), and Cedarville (67) rounded out the top five.
