ASHLAND, Ohio - Cedarville placed third in a tough field at the G-MAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Ashland University.
Findlay repeated as champion among the 13 schools with 161.5 points. Hillsdale was the runner-up with 128 points followed by the Lady Jackets with 98.5.
CU had a pair of runner-up finishes on Saturday.
Britain Musick was second in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.82 seconds and
Savannah Ackley took second in the 3,000 meters in 9:47.53.
Audrianna Enns placed third in the mile (4:57.29) and
Hannah Willow was third in the high jump (5-4.25; 1.63 meters).
On Friday,
Naomi Herman won the 5,000 meter run and Cedarville repeated as champion in the distance medley relay.
Herman crossed the line first in the 5K in 16:56.23 and
Bethany Sholl was the runner-up in 16:59.97.
The DMR foursome of Enns, Ackley,
Kiersten Franklin, and
Remington Hobson placed first in 11:45.95.
Nora Hagan broke her own school record in the 60 meter dash prelims with a time of 7.57 seconds.
The Lady Jackets hit six NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks during the weekend. The list includes Hagan (60m dash), Enns (mile), Ackley (3K), Sholl (3K), Musick (60m hurdles), and DMR.
