CEDARVILLE, Ohio - It was a dominating performance by the Lady Jackets in claiming the team trophy at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational inside the Doden Field House.
Savannah Ackley headlined the winners with a school record in the 3,000 meters in 9:45.92. She met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark as well.
Nora Hagan won the 60 meter dash in 7.69 seconds - No. 8 all-time at Cedarville.
Other individual winners on the track included
Kiersten Franklin in the 200 (25.57),
Jessica Ferguson in the 400 (1:01.96),
Audrianna Enns in the 800 (2:18.10), and
Hannah Rhem in the mile (5:06.64).
The 4 x 400 meter relay quartet of Enns,
Alayna Ackley,
Abigail Atkins, and
Laurel Brown took first in 4:19.32.
Hannah Willow won the high jump by clearing 5-7 (1.70 meters). The effort tied for third-best in CU history and was a Division II provisional qualifying mark.
Cedarville had two other provisional qualifiers in the 3K. Runner-up
Bethany Sholl was timed in 9:50.87 and
Naomi Herman was third in 9:52.87.
Sarah Hannay's runner-up heave in the weight throw (49-8.5; 15.15 meters) rates ninth-best in school history.
