CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville won three events and placed second overall on a wind blown day at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open.
The weather took center stage with two lightning delays and winds gusting to over 50 mph.
Audrianna Enns grabbed first place in the 1,500 meters in 4:49.73 while
Caroline Schaeckenbach won the 400 meter hurdles in 1:09.36.
Sarah Hannay's winning toss in the discus of 138-1 (42.08 meters) ranks as the seventh-best in school history.
Britain Musick was the runner-up in the 100 meter hurdles (14.97) and
Bethany Sholl was second in the 1,500 (4:50.42).
Kiersten Franklin and
Alexandra Brizzi finished 2-3 in the 100 meter dash with an identical time of 12.60 seconds.
Alayna Ackley was third in the 800 (2:27.13) and
Haleigh Eckert placed third in the pole vault (12-3.50; 3.75m) which was moved inside at the Doden Field House.
Marian (Ind.) won the title in the 21-team meet with 112 points. Cedarville totaled 103 and Findlay was next with 83.
