Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Apr. 25-May 1) is track & field thrower Jonathan Scouten. The freshman from Brooklyn, Michigan was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Year by winning three events at the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Scouten won the shot put (47-1.50) and discus (134-1) with meet records in both. He also won the hammer with a throw of 132-10. The meet was held at the Yellow Jacket Track & Field Complex on Fri.-Sat., April 29-30.
