The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week is basketball player Quinton Green. The 6-foot-7 sophomore guard from Columbus, Ohio averaged 19 points per contest two non-conference games last week in Florida. Green scored eight points while adding two rebounds and two steals in a 91-84 loss at NABC #5 Nova Southeastern on Thursday, Dec. 19. He matched a career-high with 30 points in a come-from-behind 87-84 overtime victory against Lynn on Saturday, Dec. 21.
