CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville won three events and had All-America performances in eight events total to finish as the team runner-up at the NCCAA Indoor Championship in the Doden Field House.

#T.J. Badertscher# registered the first Yellow Jacket victory of the meet by turning in a personal-best mark of 14:57.01 in the 5,000 meters. Justin Hoffman later won the 400 meter dash in 50.34 seconds.

Cedarville ended its day on a high note by taking the 4 x 400 meter relay crown. Hoffman was joined by Brandon Tress, Michael Beight, and Sammy Starr with a winning time of 3:24.79.

Hoffman was the runner-up in the 55 meter hurdles in a school-record time of 7.54 seconds. Evan Thayer was 2nd in the mile in 4:17.04 which also met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.

The 4 x 200 meter relay team placed 2nd in 1:35.40. The unit consisted of Marcus Benjamin, Brad Eiras, Aaron Lane, and Jordan Molstre.

The top three finishers in each event are considered NCCAA All-Americans. Starr was 3rd in the 400 meter dash in 50.92 seconds. Other 3rd-place showings came from Joe Carter in the 800 meters (1:58.79) and Chris Vaughn in the 3,000 (8:46.71).

Indiana Wesleyan won the banner in the 13-team meet with 122.5 points. Cedarville was next with 116.5 points and was followed by Greenville at 110. [COMPLETE RESULTS]
