JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Justin Hoffman and Evan Thayer both earned All-America honors in their respective events during the final day at the 45th Annual Men's NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships staged at the Memorial Center.
Hoffman was timed in 8.18 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles final to place 4th. The top six finishers in each event are considered All-Americans.
Earlier in the competition, Hoffman twice set school records in the event. He posted an 8.14 mark in the prelims and 8.06 in the semifinals.
Thayer finished 4th in the finals of the 1,000 meter run. He turned in a school-record time of 2:27.38.
Hoffman and Thayer join Josh Wiseman, who was the runner-up in the 3,000 meter race walk, as All-Americans for the Yellow Jackets.
