CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets won six events and set two meet records in claiming the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational crown inside the Doden Field House.
CU totaled 167.50 points to win the six-team meet. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was the runner-up with 125.50.
Carsyn Koch won the 400 meter with a meet record time of 56.58 seconds. It also ranks #5 all-time at Cedarville.
Additionally, the Washburn, Maine product met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard with what is currently the third-fastest time in the country.
Koch was also part of the meet record of 12:39.17 set by the winning distance medley relay. She was joined by
Kayla Casaletto,
Olivia Esbenshade, and
Olivia Kundo in recording the #7 time in the country thus far.
Koch,
Hanah Johnson,
Michaela Nelson, and
Carly Rose won the 4 x 400 relay in 4:06.25.
Esbenshade won the mile in 5:06.37 while Rose paced a CU 1-4 finish in the 800 in 2:20.90.
Christy Jesson was victorious in the 3,000 meters in 10:35.18 with the Jackets taking the top three spots.
