Box Score 2 CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Danielle Wolgamot stepped up inside the circle and at the plate to spark the Lady Jackets to an 8-1 win over Davis & Elkins which salvaged a split of their G-MAC twinbill.
The Senators, who played as the home team in both contests, won the opener, 2-0.
Wolgamot, the 2017 G-MAC Pitcher of the Year, tossed the final four innings in relief of freshman starter Kacy Smith. The senior righthander allowed just one hit and struck out five while improving her record to 4-0.
Wolgamot hammered her 12th career home run while going 2-for-4 with two RBI's.
Heather Lord and
Sarah Parsons each had three hits as part of a 15-hit attack for Cedarville, 16-10 overall and 5-1 G-MAC.
Avary Humes and
Kaitlyn Woerner had two hits apiece.
The Jackets were locked up in the opener in being shutout for the third time this spring. They totaled seven base hits with
Hannah Lord,
Heather Lord, and
Jessica Steger each contributing two hits.

- Wolgamot had not homered since April 19, 2016 at Davis & Elkins. She drilled six long balls as a freshman and five as a sophomore.
- Parsons registered her first three-hit game of the season.
