TFRRS RESULTS
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -
Rachel Sweeney pushed through to win the mile run to lead the Lady Jackets in the Indiana Tech Invitational to begin the 2021 indoor campaign.
Sweeney was timed in 5:08.23 while
Remington Hobson placed third in 5:10.19 and
Naomi Herman was seventh in 5:14.02.
The non-scoring meet was staged at the Turnstone Center.
Madeleine Peramaki took third in the 800 meters (2:23.31) and
Alayna Ackley was sixth in the 3,000 (10:34.09).
In the field events,
Sarah Himes was the runner-up in the weight throw with a heave of 47-9.75 (14.57 meters).
Madeline Barnes cleared 10-10 (3.30m) in the pole vault to finish third.
