HILLSDALE, Mich. - Cedarville won four events en route to claiming the team title at the Hillsdale Tune-Up.
The Lady Jackets totaled 131 points to win the ten-team meet. The host Chargers were second with 129 points and Malone was next with 60.
Freshman
Lyssi Snouffer won the high jump at 5-7 (1.70 meters) which is the second-best jump in school history. She set the CU record (5-7.75) two weeks ago.
Haleigh Eckert took first in the pole vault by clearing 12-feet even. The mark ties for tenth on the Jackets' all-time list.
Rachel Sweeney won the 3K in 10:06.17 to rate fifth on the program's Top 10 efforts and
Bethany Sholl captured the 5K in 18:15.93.
Cedarville hosts the G-MAC Indoor Championships at the Doden Field House on February 26-27.
Stinger Notes:
- Sarah Himes recorded the second-best Cedarville mark in the weight throw (51-5.75; 15.69m) to place fifth.
- Lauren Willow was the high jump runner-up with a career-best equaling 5-5.75 (1.67m) - tying for No. 5 all-time at CU.
- Naomi Herman was the 3K runner-up (10:16.61) and Alayna Ackley was third (10:18.43).
- Amy Plank took second in the 5K (18:40.33) and Claire Smout was third (18:43.68).
- Katie Hadley was the runner-up in the triple jump at 32-3.50 (9.84m).
