CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Rachel Sweeney ran to victory in the mile and the Lady Jackets placed fourth in the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Doden Field House.
Freshmen
Britain Musick and
Lyssi Snouffer also established new school records.
Sweeney held on to win the mile by 0.01 with a time of 5:03.03.
Snouffer was the high jump runner-up breaking her own school record with a leap of 5-8 (1.73 meters). She moved up into a tie for seventh in NCAA Division II this season.
Musick finished third in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.91 seconds for another CU record. Her preliminary time of 8.98 ties for third on the all-time list.
Haleigh Eckert placed fourth in the pole vault clearing 12-0.50 (3.67m) - tied for ninth in the school record book.
Naomi Herman was fifth in the 3,000 meters (10:07.26) which is the sixth-fastest performance ever for the Lady Jackets.
Cedarville totaled 59 points to place fourth in the standings. Hillsdale defended its title with 188 points with Findlay (148) and Tiffin (130) completing the top three.
