CEDARVILLE, Ohio - NAIA #12 Shawnee State outran the #11 Yellow Jackets to take the team title at the 19th Annual Friendship Invitational staged at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

The Bears placed four runners in the Top 10 and totaled just 29 points to win the meet for the second time in the past three years. Cedarville was next with 81 points while Rio Grande was 3rd in the 17-team field with 111.

The Jackets ran as a pack with the team's top seven separated by only 42 seconds. #T.J. Badertscher# led the way by crossing the line 13th overall in 26:07 for the 8,000 meters.

Jordan Davies was 14th in 26:13. Josiah Bragg placed 19th in 26:19 while Evan Thayer was on his heels in the 20th spot in 26:20.

The rest of Cedarville's top seven included Josh Wiseman (23rd; 26:24), Joseph Cathey (29th; 26:48), and Rob Trennepohl (30th, 26:49). [COMPLETE RESULTS]
