The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (May 22-28) for the second-consecutive time is track & field distance runner Rachel Sweeney-Bredeson. The graduate student from Xenia, Ohio placed sixth in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase to earn All-America honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, May 27, 2022 in Allendale, Michigan. Bredeson posted a time of 10:24.13 to trim more than six seconds off of the CU record she set 24 hours earlier in the prelims. She ends her career with the top four times in program history in the steeple and six of the top eight.
