The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 9-15) is cross country runner Matt Brooker. The senior from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania helped the Yellow Jackets to the team championship of the 22nd Annual Friendship Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15. Brooker ran the fastest time since the race came to the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in 2006 with an 8K mark of 24:39 to become the fifth Yellow Jacket to win the race. Cedarville had 20 points to win the nine-team event.
