The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 9-15) is track & field performer James Blackwell. The junior from Clare, Michigan placed ninth in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, March 14 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Blackwell's pole vault effort was 16-0.75 to finish 9th out of 17 competitors. It was his second straight NCAA indoor appearance after placing 12th in the heptathlon last winter.
